HannahPoem

To Hannah, my childhood Irish Setter friend. We had some good times together!

Hannah – an old friend:

A flash of red

Glimpsed through trees

A powerful stride

At once rapid and at ease

Silky soft coat

Warm against my skin

Four muscular legs

Body strong, yet so thin

Eyes bright with fun

A deep bark, running free

Now I run to her

Not her to me
