Inspired by a beautiful plant that gives me pleasure every year.
The fern in my garden:
In winter
The fern in my garden died
Then spring arrived
Slowly, slowly each arm was rolled out
As if testing if its’ luck would hold out
Until it burst forth with life, green and strong
To rule the garden all summer long
The season needs a queen, and now it has one!
Autumn, no one sees its’ decline has begun
But this years’ growth is over and done
And before long another cold winter will come.
